Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Description: Amethyst Place is
the product of Kansas City community leaders banding together to
address the lack of safe housing for single family homes recovering
from substance use disorder and their children. Because of
untreated mental illness, significant histories of trauma, poor
educational attainment, limited work histories, felonies,

housing options, these women had no choice after residential

substance use began, threatening their recovery and the stability
of their families. Founded in May 2000 by task force members,
Amethyst Place has filled this gap for over 25 years and has been
home to over 437 families, including 851 children. Noble Cause and
Values We believe our work is more than a mission; it’s a Noble
Cause . We inspire transformational healing and empower generations
of women and children to achieve recovery, reunification, and
resilience. We achieve this through our Values of: Building a
community of trust and acceptance Serving each other with integrity
and courage Unwavering belief in transformation and growth Job
