This position will be responsible for supporting Americas Consulting Pursuit Marketing, reporting to the Sr. BD Marketing Manager, Consulting. This role will be responsible for leading all facets of pursuit development including: sourcing and developing all content and messaging, creating innovative and unique themes and design elements, ensuring security and integrity of all documentation, coordinating internal flow and review of all pursuit inputs, schedules, activities with cross functional business areas, and directing submission of the final product to the client. This role works closely with Americas Consulting leaders and coordinates with functional experts in operations, technology, marketing, and legal in the preparation of complex pursuit submissions.This high-visibility position calls for a confident marketing professional with excellent strategic-thinking, writing, project management, analytical, and collaboration skills. The preferred candidate is self-directed with an unyielding attention to detail and experienced in a deadline driven environment. Commercial Real Estate or consulting firm experience is a plus**Key Responsibilities**+ Project manages end-to-end pursuit process including coordinating and leading team calls, engaging appropriate platform resources, setting and maintaining expectations and ensuring project is completed and submitted on time.+ Leads overall content creation on proposal and presentations for Americas Consulting within the U.S., with a heavy emphasis on writing and content coordination.+ Devises win strategies for new business pursuits with market leader partners.+ Crafts creative messaging and themes around the win strategies to tell a unique story in our pursuit material to our clients+ Researches and resolves complex issues pertaining to RFP responses, while articulating CBRE's capabilities and value proposition in accordance with client needs+ Serves as the liaison with subject matter experts across the platform to ensure the appropriate data and content is utilized effectively+ Conducts extensive due diligence on the client's background, company culture and brand to ensure a customized, client-centric approach for every pursuit+ Partners with graphic design team to develop client-specific and unique design approaches through client branding, messaging, and advanced content creation platforms+ Organizes, manages and leads team meetings interfacing with leadership and sales professionals, managing the entire process, pursuit team, deliverables, and deadline+ Leads conference calls and meetings interfacing with leadership and sales professionals, managing the process, materials, and deadlines+ Strong ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively in a creative manner. Researches and resolves complex issues pertaining to RFP responses+ Contribute to the ongoing optimization of AMS Consulting pursuit toolkit by stewarding best practices, effective content, and successful deliverables+ Support Sr. BD Marketing Manager with the development of pursuit resources, templates and support services available to AMS Consulting+ Works within Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), PowerPoint and Word to create and design marketing and presentation materials.+ Other duties may be assigned.**Supervisory Responsibilities**Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.**FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE**Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.**REASONING ABILITY**Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.**OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES**Requires knowledge of all software used by personnel in the department**SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY**Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Business Development Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Business Development Manager position is $100,000 annually . The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
