repairs.OverviewThe Quality Inspector is responsible for all first
article inspections (product and packaging) and managing the
process of ordering and receiving samples, entering data and
providing weekly status reports. This role will work closely with
the merchandising team to identify opportunities to improve
existing product packaging that will enhance the customer
experience while driving cost savings and efficiencies in the
fulfillment center.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Visual
inspections of products Taking and recording accurate weights and
measurements of packaging and partsEnsuring required components are
included Content Review of included instructions, branding etc.
Coordinating the shipments of samples with vendorsProduct Sample
comparisons / confirmationShipping options and package box
assignment verificationsEnsuring the correct and most
cost-effective option is usedVerify product integrity for all
productResearch and evaluation of confirmed customer product issues
QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree
(GED); and minimum one to three years direct warehouse experience
in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment Auto
Parts knowledge Auto Parts counterperson experience a plusStrong
Computer skills required, familiarity with distribution software
