Logistics clerks help regulate a business supply chain. They monitor inventory levels, arrange transportation methods, manage shipping schedules, among other administrative duties. Industry: Warehouse/Distribution. Duties: Working with finance to resolve payment dispute by providing packing slips, bill of lading and PODs. File and track shortage and damage claims with carriers Research and resolve shipment discrepancies Schedule return shipments and creating paperwork Work with customer services to complete RMA information Obtain missing shipping information for carrier delivery Maintain driver check in log -Track and maintain compliance logs -Create and maintain vendor compliance reports -Assisting with scheduling inbound and outbound freight shipments -Assisting with entering shipments into vendor TMS systems -Updating shipment schedule -Working with carriers and or customers to resolve shipping issues -Tracking and filing claims with carriers.
