Job Title: Material Handler Days: Monday-Thursday Shift: 4:30PM-3AM Pay: $17.24 Overtime: Saturdays as needed Environment: No Climate Control, Noise, & Dust. Staffmark is partnering with a top-notch manufacturing company in Olathe, KS, and is looking to bring on a few more associates to the team! This is an opportunity you do not want to miss! This is the type of workplace you will want to stay at long term! Job Description includes but is not limited to:

  • Material handler/order picker packer assists with shipping and loading trucks, checking in merchandise in a manufacturer distribution center.
  • Detail-oriented with product quality control to fulfill orders utilizing a forklift, cherry picker, electric pallet jack, and shrink wrapper.
  • Scanning products and labels with RF Scanner.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers
  • Picking and packing, pulling materials, accurately packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area for truckers.
  • Selecting, sorting, stacking, and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards and preparing products for shipment delivery.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing with proper labeling Job Responsibilities
    • Inspection of equipment to ensure proper maintenance when performing duties moving, palletizing, and preparing items.
    • Productive to assemble products and receive orders into the warehouse by processing requests and shipping orders.
    • Maintains physical hand inventory count controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
    • Maintains a safe and clean work environment with housekeeping skills by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. (Sweep, dust, and mop)
    • Assists production assembly line as needed. Qualifications & Requirements:
      • Positive friendly customer service skills to support company values and goals.
      • Assists outbound with lifting, loading, and unloading inbound trucks.
      • Effective communication, computer skills, and diligence.
      • Compliance with OSHA safety training; wear proper safety equipment.
      • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
      • Reliable Transportation
