In operations and facilities, we literally do it all---in-house. We
are looking for skilled, energetic individuals who want to join our
quality, international shipping, manufacturing, office services,
planning, purchasing, receiving, returns and warehouse teams. These
associates do everything from delivering packages and purchasing
supplies to assembling aviation panel mounts and ensuring our large
shipments of goods are exported according to applicable

We are seeking a full-time Global Supply Chain Planner for our
world headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will be
responsible for proficiently applying basic to intermediate
knowledge and understanding of MRP, ERP, Inventory & Forecast
Planning, Logistics and Distribution, ECOs and product lifecycle
transitions in performance of demand planning tasks and/or
projects. Other essential functions include:
* Demonstrates understanding and follows departmental processes in
the performance of essential functions including: Purchasing,
Manufacturing/Lean processes, Order Administration processes
* May participate in planning projects focused on continuous
improvement
* Exercises effective communication skills in performance of
tasks/projects with internal and external customers to meet and
exceed customer expectations
* Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound
problem solving techniques including:
* Determining root cause analysis and development of corrective
action plans
* Assembling and analyzing data, identifying problems and
developing recommendations which support supply chain operations
and planning
* Demonstrates a sense of urgency, ownership, commitment and focus
on the appropriate priorities in developing solutions in a timely
fashion
Qualifications
Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor's Degree OR Associates
Degree from a two year college or university AND 3 years'
experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential
functions of this job description OR, High School Diploma or
Equivalent AND 5 years' experience performing a role substantially
similar to the essential functions of this job description OR High
School Diploma or Equivalent AND 3 years' experience performing a
role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job
description and management approved supply chain certificate
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and
interpersonal communication skills. Other requirements include:
* Demonstrates intermediate proficiency and knowledge of applicable
Microsoft Office software Understands and implements lean
practices
* Solid understanding of warehouse, manufacturing and service
processes
* Demonstrates full proficiency and knowledge of Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) and Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) or
Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and other planning tools
required to perform essential functions of this role
* Demonstrates ability to learn and gain proficient use and
knowledge of planning tools
* Demonstrates full knowledge and use of supply chain processes
relevant for performing planning function
Previous work or internship experience working in a manufacturing
or distribution environment is highly preferred!
