KC Tank is seeking qualified candidates for a Welder/Assembly employee. This position is on a team of highly motivated craftsmen building and assembling aluminum and stainless steel tanks for the vacuum and fuel truck industries. KC Tank is a new and growing company where you will enjoy working with the newest technology and equipment. We are looking for skilled individuals to grow our dedicated team. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Hand plasma cutting Fitting assemblies to weld Tubing and fitting welding Confined space welding, 30-45 minutes per task 20-25% weld time for this position Welding with quality and attention to cosmetic detail is a MUST REQUIREMENTS: Must be proficient in MIG and TIG Stainless Steel and Aluminum welding Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted Mechanical experience with heavy trucks/equipment preferred Must have excellent interpersonal/verbal communication skills Must be able to work independently as well as be part of a team Must have reliable mode of transportation EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A Diploma or Certificate from a certified welding program, or equivalent (at least one year) job experience.
