SummaryThis position promotes and markets the Technical Solutions of CDL Electric. That includes the ability to assess customer needs to find a solution with CDL products and services. This position will also need to utilize the sales process which includes proposals, presentations and closing techniques.Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance.401K with 50% company match after 1 year.Profit Sharing for full-time employees7 Paid holidays after 60 days of employment.Employee referral bonuses.Pay dependent on relevant experienceRequired Experiences for Technical Solutions Manager:Knowledge of low voltage projects and their installation processes.Knowledge of fiber optics, 2 way radios, camera systems, access controls, traffic signals, emergency services and other general maintenance.Excellent attention to detail and time management.High school diploma or GED equivalent.Experience in selling products direct to home and business owners preferred.Experience in managing small teamsExperience with employee time keeping and budgetingCDL Class A PreferredEssential Duties and Responsibilities for Technical Solutions Manager:Work with VP to develop sales strategies for each major business sector consistent with Division goals.Drives a coherent sales strategy for each customer and reach annual sales targets.Develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels to obtain marketing intelligence of current and future customer plans.Meet with customers and attend industry events to represent CDL and the Technical Solutions Division.Develop and communicate customer quotes, proposals, and long-term contracts.Communicate to customers quality, product improvement, new product development updates.Support the business strategic operating plan, end of month and end of quarter goals.Support post-sales activities including product delivery, customer follow-up, and invoice collection.Review specifications, drawings and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.Review bid documents prior to bidding, checking for completeness, accuracy and coordination with other trades as needed.Present prepared estimates by assembling and distributing numerical and descriptive information.Prepare bids, proposals, quotations and present to customer and answer customer questions.Occasional Travel requiredPhysical DemandsDuties may require:Standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or sitting for long periods of timePush/Pull/Lift/Moving 50 pounds#INDBS
