OVERVIEW We are looking for a strong Human Resource Generalist with at least 4 years of Human Resource experience with knowledge in labor laws along with advanced HR skills gained through experience to support our 2 nd shift fulfillment center employees. Applicants must have a strong work ethic. Responsibilities will include generalist duties as described below. The candidate should be well versed with ADP Payroll and other HR Systems with mid-expert MS Word and Excel skills. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Expert knowledge of ADP HRIS/Payroll. Partner with Payroll Administrator in all aspects of payroll, time and attendance and reporting Mid - high level knowledge of administering FMLA, Leaves of Absence, ADA, Workers Compensation, COBRA, FLSA, and other employment related laws. Responsible for HR database and records management Assist employees with Human Resource software and systems issues. Prepare and analyze headcount, turnover, and other ad-hoc reporting. Time Bandit (checking attendance) administration in ADP Co ordinate annual benefit and ancillary open enrollment Lead and administer on-boarding initiatives including new hire orientation and safety training, preparation of new hire paperwork and management of first day logistics Termination administration and conduct exit interviews Ensure compliance to all HR standards, processes and procedures. Monitor laws and regulations and maintain company compliance Advise HR Director of compliance issues and solutions, update policies or processes and coordinate training as needed Exercise knowledge of HR policies, Laws and procedures to help resolve employee concerns and questions Partner and communicate with members of the global HR team Coordinate annual performance management review process in online system; assist managers and employees with administration of annual evaluations and goals Work closely with HR Director and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention Champion of company's core values Promote "Empower", 1A Auto's global recognition program Responsible for annual EEO reporting Knowledge of safety laws and company policies Participate in and be an active member of the safety team Human Resources Generalist Requirements Availability to work M, Tu, Th, Fr 12:00pm-8:30pm and Wed 2:30pm - 11:00pm Work with a sense of urgency and at a faster than average pace Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently Excellent knowledge of employment laws and practices. Experience in the administration of benefits and other Human Resources programs. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping Ability to work independently and a self-starter, and able to work as part of a team High level knowledge of HRIS Systems Effective and Professional oral and written communication. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must Excellent customer service, communication and listening skills Able to work at a level of detail that will result in accurate record keeping and reporting. Education Skills, and Experience Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 4 () years of progressive experience in Human Resources. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification preferred not required. Proficient in working with systems to include ADP Workforce Now Mid-high level MS Office Please note: This job description is not all inclusive, but rather is intended to capture the majority of the job functions.
