an opening for a Product Trainer/ Principal Product Trainer to join
our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be
located in Melbourne, FL for the Logistics and Modernization group,
operating on our 9/80 schedule meaning you will get every other
Friday off. The position has no opportunity for remote or
telework.The successful candidate needs to be experienced with the
Instructional Systems Development (ISD) framework for analyzing,
designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating (ADDIE)
learning systems. Select appropriate instructional methods such as
individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures,
demonstration-performance, problem-based learning, student-centered
learning, and guided discussion. Support, build, and promote a
positive and collaborative culture across all teams. Develop and
maintain expert level knowledge. Strong written and verbal
communication skills required, as well as strong organizational
skills and an ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented
environment.Job Duties Include: - Develops training curriculum,
study outlines, and orientation materials to be employed during
procedures-based maintenance training. - Support the development of
criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. -
Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements
and maintain updated technical information. - Provide input to meet
new training requirements and to keep technical information up to
date. - Demonstrate and use effective training analysis, project
management, course development, and evaluation skills. - Develop
instruction materials - self-paced guides, case studies, job aids,
evaluations; scenario-based course outlines. - Develop training
materials - classroom materials, instructor guides, student
manuals, workbooks, related materials; curricula to support program
implementation across target audiences. - Collaborate with subject
matter experts (SMEs) to identify specific training needs and
develop solutions for satisfying unique skills-based training
requirements. - Create and analyze assessments to evaluate learning
effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities - e.G.,
pre-tests, post-tests, and quizzes. - Use ISD current Learning
Theory to solve complex learning and performance problems.Basic
Qualifications for Product Trainer - Bachelor's Degree with 3
years' relevant experience; OR a Masters' Degree with 1-year
relevant experience; OR 7 years' experience in lieu of Degree -
Experience in courseware development, instruction, or industry
training content development - Must have familiarity with Microsoft
Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) - Must have the
ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance -
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program
Access (PAR/SAP)Basic Qualifications for a Principal Product
Trainer: - Bachelor's Degree with 6 years' relevant experience; OR
a Maters' Degree with 4 years' relevant experience; OR 10 years'
experiencein lieu of Degree - Experience in courseware development,
instruction, or industry training content development. - Must have
familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel) - Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret
Security Clearance - Must have the ability to obtain and maintain
Special Access Program Access (PAR/SAP)Preferred Qualifications -
Must have working knowledge of customer compliance documents,
government instructions, and government standards - 6 or more years
of experience in courseware development, instruction, or industry
training content development - An Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret
Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within
the past 6 years - Special Program Access - 3 or more years of
aircraft maintenance classroom instruction and course development
at a Field Training Detachment (special considerations will be
given for diverse development experience). - 6 or more years of
hands-on aircraft maintenance experience (special considerations
will be given for more diverse experience). - Experience in task
analysis procedures and training systems products - Basic
understanding of Agile processes. - Design and development of
curriculum for advanced technologies. - Experience using courseware
