In this role, you will provide compassionate and effective care to patients with orthopedic injuries and post-surgical conditions. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for patients in the ortho trauma unit Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment plans as necessary Administer medications and maintain detailed patient records Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and care after discharge Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care Adhere to all hospital health and safety protocols Strong clinical skills in orthopedic nursing Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to handle stress and make critical decisions in high-pressure environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment Certification in Orthopedic Nursing (ONC) preferred but not required BLS/ACLS certification mandated
