Our ICU nurses are crucial to the management of complex patient situations and are tasked with delivering exceptional care under critical conditions. As part of HCA Healthcare, you will be working alongside top professionals in nearly 2,000 sites of care, including advanced hospitals and surgical centers. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition. Perform and document patient assessments using designed technological tools and resources. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing functions, medical terminology, and new techniques of care in the ICU. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary health team members. Proven ability to handle and resolve complex health situations Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems Ability to perform high-stress situations with optimum effectiveness Adept at comprehensive patient assessments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
