Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks an experienced and compassionate Registered
Nurse to join our dedicated burn unit team. This position focuses
on providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients
recovering from burn injuries. Our RNs play a crucial role in the
patient recovery process, administering care under the strictest
standards of safety and efficiency. Working within HCA Healthcare
provides the opportunity to contribute to nationwide efforts aimed
at caring for and improving human life through cutting-edge
treatments and compassionate care practices. Provide direct nursing
care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and
protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor patient’s
condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care
and advice. Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and
communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated and comprehensive
care. Participate in patient and family counseling and education.
Ensure the proper handling and operation of medical equipment.
Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized
interventions. Strong clinical skills with a focus on burn care and
wound management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in using healthcare software and systems. Ability to
work effectively within a team and independently. Strong
organizational and multitasking skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Certified Burn
Registered Nurse (CBRN) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
required.
