Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Lees Summit, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,243 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Lees Summit, Missouri, 64086! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience required. License: Active state license required. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must possess skills in telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and the management of dysrhythmias. Experience in care for general intermediate populations is essential. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry. The average daily census is 29 patients, with 30 rooms available. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting telemetry results. The role includes management of patients with dysrhythmias and other cardiac conditions. Management of feeding tubes, central lines, and peripheral IVs is required. Successful candidates will assist in administering blood products and managing various IV medications. Experience with tracheostomy care, chest tubes, and high flow oxygen administration is necessary. Wound care and isolation precautions are also part of the responsibilities. Candidates should have proficiency in using rapid response and code teams. Nurses will float within the service line and to sister facilities as needed. Weekend shifts are required, with 4 to 6 shifts every 6 weeks. This position requires working with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential for this role. Candidates should be comfortable managing patients with a variety of diagnoses including sepsis, infection, and post-operative care. BLS and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. This position does not require on-call duties.
