Job Description:
TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for
a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Kansas. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13
weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment
Type: Travel Requirements 1. Licensure Active RN license Kansas /
Compact / Multi Must be in good standing 2. Required Certifications
BLS (AHA) – Basic Life Support ACLS (AHA) – Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support PALS (AHA) CNOR (preferred) 3. Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience Open-heart surgery
experience (MANDATORY ) Experience with: CABG (Coronary Artery
Bypass Graft) -preferred Valve replacements/repairs - preferred
Aortic repairs - preferred TAVR -preferred Must be comfortable
circulating (scrub experience preferred in some facilities) ?
4.(preferred) Clinical Skills Cardiopulmonary bypass
Heparin/protamine management Chest closure procedures Experience
with surgical instruments and sterile technique Ability to work in
high-acuity, fast-paced OR setting ? 5. Call Requirements On-call
one weekend/month | Weekends required in rotation | Must be willing
to work/take call on holidays Must be able to respond within
required timeframe (typically 30 minutes) 6. Charting Systems EPIC
