HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team on weekends at our state-of-the-art facility. As a pivotal member of our OR team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to patient care excellence, supported by the latest medical technologies and procedures. This role requires a compassionate professional who is proficient in managing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, ensuring patient safety and adherence to all surgical protocols. Prepare operating rooms for surgery including ensuring that sterile procedures are followed and all needed equipment is available and functioning, Assist in surgery by passing instruments and other supplies, monitoring patient vital signs, and injecting medications as directed by the anesthesiologist, Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a successful surgical process, Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient education and emotional support, Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards, Participate in continuous education to stay updated with advancements in the field and enhance professional growth. Strong clinical skills in an operating room setting, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Proficient in following complex instructions, Ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced environments, Meticulous attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment, BLS/ACLS Certification, Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification is a plus.
