Job Description:

Encompass Health Kansas Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll provide personalized, patient-centered care in a supportive rehabilitation environment, where we focus on enhancing the health and functional outcomes of the patients we serve. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors to administer treatments and medication, monitor patient health, and assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual recovery needs. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within a rehabilitation setting. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care. Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate patient rehabilitation and provide emotional support. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills High level of patience and empathy Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team Knowledge of healthcare and medication administration standards Ability to handle medical information discretely Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN license in the state of Kansas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification IV certification preferred
