Encompass Health Kansas Rehabilitation is actively seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing personalized occupational therapy for our diverse patient base, utilizing customized treatment plans to enhance patient independence. The ideal candidate will passionately assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and work, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices. Evaluate patient condition and develop appropriate therapy and treatment plans. Administer tests and physical examinations to assist with diagnostic processes. Document patient care and progress collaboratively in patient and department records. Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and therapeutic exercises. Regularly assess treatment effects and modify interventions as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Proficiency in developing tailored treatment plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physical tasks and lift small equipment Excellent documentation and organizational abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid occupational therapist state license NBCOT Certification as an Occupational Therapist
