Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled
Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatric Care for Senior
Adults. Our dedicated team focuses on delivering the best
patient-centered care to improve the well-being of older adults
with psychological or emotional disorders. As an integral part of
our psychiatric department, you will utilize your specialized
skills in geriatric mental health, assisting patients in managing
and overcoming the challenges associated with aging and mental
health conditions. Assess patients' mental health status and work
with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects
Provide therapeutic care and support to patients and their families
Educate patients and their families about mental health and coping
mechanisms Document patient care services by charting in patient
records Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review
and optimize patient care plans Stay updated with the latest trends
and innovations in geriatric psychiatry care Strong assessment and
diagnostic skills Ability to manage medication and therapy for
psychiatric disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Capability to work effectively in high-stress environments
Empathy and patience with elderly patients Medical Insurance Dental

Nurse license Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing
(PMHNP-BC) preferred
