Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours
Experience: Minimum of 1 year travel experience in Pediatric
Intensive Care Unit License: Must hold both a state license and a
compact license Certifications: BLS, PALS required Must-Have: 1
year experience in a traveler setting in Pediatric Intensive Care
Unit Experience in trauma care and pediatric critical care
Description: Provide advanced illness management and health
promotion for patients requiring critical care. Utilize the nursing
process and scientific principles to deliver safe, high-quality,
comprehensive, family-centered, and age-appropriate care.
Continuously monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes
in clinical status. Deliver patient and family education, advocate
for the complex needs of critically ill children, and coordinate
patient care with the multidisciplinary team. In-house
board-certified pediatric critical care medicine specialists
provide 24-hour care. Utilize advanced monitoring and life support
technologies. Participate in clinical research and provide
consultations for patient stabilization and transfer initiation.
Engage in comprehensive patient care with an emphasis on advocacy
and education. Ensure compliance with unit policies and protocols
throughout the shift. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
