Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Saint Joseph, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Stepdown Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year Required License: RN State License And/OR Compact State Licensure, Pending License Must be in Hand Prior to Start Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 1 Year Experience Preferred - BSN Preferred - Experience with Epic Charting System Description: Stepdown RN needed for night shift. The shift consists of 3 twelve-hour nights. Candidates need to have at least 1 year of nursing experience. Certification requirements include BCLS and ACLS. There are opportunities to take care of diverse patient populations. Patient diagnoses include medical and post-surgical cases for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic patients. Common procedures involve open-heart surgery, thoracotomy, and heart catheterization. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including therapy and social services. The daily patient census is approximately 43. The nurse-patient ratio is 4:1. Ability to manage patients with complex medical needs is essential. Experience in telemetry is important. Familiarity with various procedures and equipment is expected. Support and training will be provided for those who meet the qualifications. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
