Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Med/Surg Location: Kansas City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,362 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year Travel Experience Required License: Must have a Missouri or compact License and a Kansas License Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS Certifications Required Must-Have: Pediatric or Peds Med Surge experience Description: The float position will require the nurse to float to other similar units within the same facility. There is a small chance of floating to another state, but this is not common. All Pediatric travelers are expected to have both Kansas and Missouri licenses. Nurses without a Kansas license who are willing to obtain it are encouraged to apply. Floating will only be to similar specialties and acuity levels. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of travel experience. Position is for night shifts and involves working three 12-hour shifts per week. A clean professional record is required. The facility operates as a smoke-free environment. Medications and dosage testing will be conducted during the first week of employment. A 100% pass rate is required on these tests, with three attempts permitted. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Pharmacology
