Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Cardiac Night
shift position requiring a KS or compact RN license and strong
telemetry skills. Responsibilities - Work in the telemetry unit
with a focus on cardiac care (Unit 4N Cardiac) - Night shifts from
19:00 to 07:30, three 12-hour shifts per week - Every other weekend
is required - No on-call responsibilities - Holiday work required
according to unit needs, with rotating major holidays - Required to
float to all acute care units - Current EMR system is Epic - Role
involves managing cardiac patients and administering complex
cardiac drips - Minimum 5-day orientation includes main campus and
Olathe location, as well as Epic training - Must be willing to work
at a nicotine-free facility - Holiday shifts must be chosen between
Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's groupings Requirements -
Active KS or compact RN license - Current BLS and ACLS
certifications required - Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry
experience - Experience with TR Bands post-procedure required -
Experience with cardiac drips including Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem,
and some Butamax - Experience with Tikosyn and Sotalol initiation
process required - Preferred: 2-5 years of telemetry experience
