Telemetry RN Job Details - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,750–$1,870 - Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract - Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Telemetry Unit (Unit 4N) - Location: Olathe, Kansas 66061 – Greater Kansas City area - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - Hours per Week: 36 hours - Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend required - Start Dates: November 3 or November 17, 2025 - Holiday Coverage: Required for select holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) - Floating: May float to all acute care units as needed - Orientation: Comprehensive multi-day orientation for travel nurses Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Kansas RN license required - Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience - BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) - Proficiency with TR Bands post-procedure, cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation - EPIC EMR experience preferred - Ability to work every other weekend and select holidays - Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities - Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients, responding promptly to changes in patient condition - Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips according to protocol - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care - Float to other acute care units as needed to support hospital staffing - Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC EMR - Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training - Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse in Olathe, Kansas, and take the next step in your nursing career!
