Schedule: Full Time Shift : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, with some evening coverage Location: Kansas Market The role you'll contribute: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing the Clinical Educator coordinates and assists staff education related to state, federal and organizational guidelines to ensure excellent quality care and patient safety standards. Available as a resource to clinical staff and monitors and reviews QA/QC processes. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Must be highly engaged in establishing the Centra Care Culture in new market regions. The value you'll bring to the team: + Completes monthly center inspections to include: Nursing visits, Diagnostic, pharmacy inspections, and engineering and work practice monitor. Tracks/trends problem corrective actions related to inspections. Assists center with plan of action to correct any non-compliant areas+ Performs new hire training/post training assessment and assists with ongoing clinical in-service/education initiatives/remediation+ Assist with new center openings by setting up clinic to include multi-state travel+ Participates in Department Performance Improvement Activities: Attends Clinical meetings, Follows up on assignments/issue. Competes tasks and reports ongoing performance indicators. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: + Minimum qualifications :+ Graduate of accredited MA program+ 2 years of Urgent Care Experience+ MA Certification - Must be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following:+ American Association of Medical Assistants ("AAMA") for Certified Medical Assistants+ American Medical Certification Association ("AMCA") for Clinical Medical Assistant Certification+ American Medical Technologists ("AMT") for Registered Medical Assistant+ National Association for Health Professionals ("NAHP") for Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant+ National Center for Competency Testing ("NCCT") for National Certified Medical Assistant+ National Healthcare Association ("NHA") for Registered Clinical Medical Assistant+ Drug screen / Breath/Alcohol Testing (BAT) instructor certification+ Current proficiency in CPR+ Preferred qualifications: + Basic Machine Operator (BMO) or RT+ 4 years of Urgent Care Experience+ 2 years Supervisory ExperienceThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
