Position summary The Personal Accident Claim Examiner will be responsible to handle all aspects of claim resolution for assigned claims while providing world class service to external and internal customers. Duties and Responsibilities - Confirmcoverage of claims by reviewing policies and documents submitted in support of claims. - Analyze coverage and communicate coverage position. - Conduct, coordinate, and direct investigation into loss facts. - Determine eligibility of claims and amounts owed under the terms of the contract. - Recognize and pursue subrogation where warranted. - Other duties as assigned. What we are looking for - A highly organized individual with ability to work in a high pace environment - Insurance claims experience of at least 1+ year(s) with exposure to Accident and Health claims or medical bill processing - Above average computer skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to read and interpret insurance policies - Must be able to work in a high pace, team oriented environment. - Accident and Health State Adjuster licenses a plus - Bilingual (Spanish) a plus It has been and will continue to be the policy of American International Group, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
