Olathe Medical Center, Inc, a 300-bed general acute care facility is currently looking for a Service Desk Manager professional to join our team. If you are committed to helping improve the health of our communities in an environment of trust and collaboration, you are welcome to apply online: **************************** EEO Employer M/F/Disabled/Vet Position Description: This position contributes to Olathe Health System's (OHS) success by monitoring the daily functions and work flow within the Organization's ITS Service Desk. Provides leadership, direction and supervision for OHS ITS Service Desk functions in a continuous support environment. Works with the ITS Director, Technology Operations to direct the activities and schedules of the Service Desk to assure coverage throughout the OHS 24 hours by seven days per week operation. Provides training (e.g. department policies, technical functions, security, technical disaster recovery plan, etc.) to new Service Desk specialists. Position Requirements: Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, college (technical Courses) or equivalent experience required Clinical nursing or department experience preferred. Experience: More than 5 Years of supervisory experience with a focus on customer service required. More than 7 Years experience preferred. Clinical nursing or departmental experience preferred Knowledge, Skills: Individuals must possess strong multi-tasking and organizational skills; strong customer relations skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; and strong budgetary & fiscal management skills. Must be able to function in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities. Displays strong initiative and can establish personal goals and take responsibility for meeting goals within defined timeliness.
