Overview

We are seeking a full-time Financial Technology Project Manager in our Olathe, KS location. The Financial Technology Project Manager will lead projects to support the finance department in various technology related aspects and serve as liaison between Finance and IT departments.
Essential Functions
Lead project implementations and enhancements of Financial systems and technologies for Garmin entities
Identify areas of improvement for Garmin Finance Departments involving process and systems
Research, design, and help develop scalable technology related projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Garmin Finance and business processes
Collaborate with IT department on testing of project/solutions before system implementations with end-users

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve errors and problems

Establish, implement, and document related methods and procedures including process flows and training/user guides

Provide training sessions as needed to end users related to supported financial technologies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or other Technical degree

Must possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in Accounting/Finance or IT

Demonstrates a thorough understanding of accounting functions and business processes

Demonstrates ability to grasp new concepts and technologies quickly

Must demonstrate strong initiative and possess the ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment

Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality

Must be able and willing to travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally, during non-pandemic travel conditions.
Desired Qualifications
IT-related coursework and aptitude
SQL/VBA experience
