Olathe, KS, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1141 KVC Health Systems is hiring a Director of Marketing & Communications to support its work providing critical mental health services for children across Kansas and Missouri. We're looking for a positive, inclusive, results-oriented leader who is great at crafting marketing strategy and brings excellent written and spoken communication skills. This position involves hybrid work and can be based anywhere in Kansas or Missouri. Come join a highly engaged team working help children achieve mental wellness!The Marketing & Communications Director uses inbound marketing as the primary method to achieve results. This person attracts -site traffic, converts that traffic into new leads for the organization, and nurtures those leads to close into "customers" such as behavioral healthcare referral sources or donors. The Marketing & Communications Director owns the majority of the marketing funnel for our organization, mastering digital -approaches such as content creation, website/blog management, social media, email marketing, landing pages, calls to action, -offers, automated lead nurturing campaigns and more.

  • The Marketing and Communications Director will:
    Participate in business unit leadership teams as an influential voice on employee engagement, customer experience, and financial growth.
  • Create and execute strategic communication plans that are aligned to business goals and metrics
  • Assist in building and managing a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, social media posts, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.) -
  • Grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls to action, landing pages and lead generation content including downloadable offers. -
  • Launch and help maintain robust email marketing programs and organically build email lists through remarkable content. -
  • Meet with internal clients monthly and report on agreed metrics. -
  • Advise clients on internal communications, media relations, advertising, etc. -
  • Identify problems and gaps in the marketing funnel and devise solutions.
  • Provide qualified leads to recruitment staff and solicit feedback on ways to improve marketing process. -
  • Provide a range of services from training to hands-on support to help business units achieve their agreed metrics. -
  • Manage and appropriately prioritize multiple projects with various needs, deadlines, stakeholders, etc. -As part of work with internal clients, she/he may also:
    • Become a content expert in a specific industry area such as behavioral healthcare or child welfare. -
    • Assist with major fundraising events including promotional support (writing copy and providing design input for invitations, -advertisements, signage, etc.) and on-site support (set-up, registration, greeting, A/V support, clean-up, etc.)
    • Photograph and film events -
    • Monitor industry news and media mentions, develop relationships with media and other influencers, craft story ideas, and pitch story ideas to the media. -
    • Contribute creative ideas for fundraising, recruitment and other key objectives.Education:
      Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field

      Experience:
      3-5 years' experience in marketing and content creation.Preferred Experience/Skills:
      • Excellent written and verbal communicator, experienced in everything from writing articles to speaking publicly.
      • Strategic thinker who can create and execute strategic communication plans.
      • Creative and analytical, using with data to inform all decisions. -
      • Consulting and customer service experience. -
      • People management experience, coaching others to do great work. -
      • Project management skills: organized and detail-oriented to manage projects with many moving parts. -
      • Proficiency in blogging and email marketing software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them into converted "customers."
