evolving world. Position Description Lindsay Corporation is hiring
a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing at our electronics
manufacturing facility located in Olathe, Kansas. This is a
full-time, onsite, position based in Olathe, Kansas and includes a
highly competitive compensation and benefits package. Travel
requirement will be minimal ( Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership for operational improvement,
optimal production output, manufacturing cost reduction, lowering
targeted material levels, health and safety and environmental
compliance. -
- Oversee and direct Value Stream Managers to meet safety,
quality, production, and cost objectives.
- Develop a yearly/monthly business plan with management
team.
- Benchmark and report progress on a weekly/monthly basis to
senior management.
- Lead and manage long-term capital investments for optimization
and utilization of equipment and materials
- Adhere to and ensure On-Time Delivery to the Customer
- Manage all projects within budgets and timeframe Preferred
Qualifications
- BS in Business Management or comparable experience
- 7+ years in operations management in a high volume
manufacturing environment, to include project scoping, budgeting,
scheduling, logistics, managing quality assurance, managing and
tracking lean projects.
- 5+ years Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing experience with proven
results.
- Demonstrated ability to synergize the benefits of experience
and the concepts of new technology, approaches and new
processes.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills,
experience at successful high performance team building.
- Strong analytical and organization skills, creative problem
solving ability.
- Ability to interface with customers, problem solve and drive
solutions to meet customer requirements. All qualified applicants
