Job Summary: We welcome you to join the Patient Financial Services Team as a Director of Revenue Cycle. #You will coordinate and manage numerous revenue cycle functions, including: claims processing, financial assistance, denials management, cash posting, and collections for both OMCI and MCMCI. Also includes billing and collections for Hospice and Home Health. Responsible for knowledge of pertinent regulations to ensure compliance and proper account disposition as well as to help implement successful revenue cycle processes within regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities also include significant system analyst functions for the accounts receivable systems. # Minimum Requirements: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Minimum Other: Health Care Administration or Business related Preferred 3 - 5 Years Supervisory experience within an acute care Patient Financial Services department Minimum More than 5 Years Managing a hospital Patient Financial Services department. Preferred Word, Excel, Power Point, and an acute care revenue cycle system (Minimum proficiency) Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. (Minimum proficiency) Claims management, denials management, MS4, Cerner Millennium, and HomeWorks (Preferred proficiency) # Key Responsibilities: Adheres to and/or maintains departmental policies and procedures, to be regulatory compliant with The Joint Commission (TJC), National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), OSHA, safety standards, or other regulatory agencies as applicable. Demonstrates flexibility required to meet changing priorities. Maintains respectful working relationships with co-workers and encourages the team approach. Approaches work in a manner that makes quality improvement a part of every activity. Follows instructions and abides by organizational and departmental policies and procedures to help the department and organization consistently meet the goals established by management or the Board of Directors. Respond promptly, accurately, and courteously to all written and phone inquiries received internally, from patients, attorneys, insurance companies, physician offices, etc. as applicable to the specific position. Consistently recognizes what needs to be done first and takes the initiative to perform the task whenever possible while also recognizing situations that need to be reported to the appropriate management staff. Consistently demonstrates reliability by reporting to work on time, working assigned shift, complying with lunch and break allowances per departmental policy and staffing needs.
