Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling machinery, components, and subassemblies for custom equipment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-230pm or Monday- Friday 730am-4pm (based on business needs) Responsibilities: Assemble machinery components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and bills of materials Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and work orders Position, fit, and align parts manually or with hoists, cranes, or forklifts Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines to assemble equipment components Assist in wiring machinery and control assemblies as required Verify accuracy of assembled components by taking precise measurements Follow all safety and operational procedures within the assembly area Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area Qualifications: 2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred, especially in industrial equipment or machinery manufacturing Willing to submit to drug and background screening Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions Proficient in using hand and power tools Experience operating hoists, forklifts, or cranes for positioning parts Basic electrical or wiring experience is a plus Strong attention to detail, quality standards, and safety Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods Express Employment Professionals is one of the top staffing companies in the U.S. and Canada.
